Terms and conditions

Terms and conditions for free quote requests, business accounts and the purchase of request contacts on Quoti.

Version: 19 October 2026

1. Operator and scope

Quoti is a quote portal for services and products in Switzerland. Your contractual partner for the platform’s services is Saygin Menekse, trading as Menekse Media. These terms govern the relationship between the operator and the individuals or businesses using Quoti to the extent agreed when the relevant contract is concluded. Individual agreements take precedence over these terms.

2. Quoti’s role

Customers can submit requests and receive quotes free of charge. Providers with a business account can purchase access to individual requests. Quoti supplies the platform for this introduction and for exchanging quotes and messages.

Quoti does not carry out the requested work or sell the requested products itself. Any contract for work or delivery is exclusively between the customer and the provider. Quoti does not guarantee a particular number of quotes, the award of a contract, revenue or another party’s ability to pay.

3. Customer and business accounts

Registration and account maintenance are free. A customer account is used to manage your own requests. A business account is for businesses and self-employed providers purchasing requests for their professional activities. Both areas can use the same email address while retaining separate functions.

A customer account is created where needed to manage a submitted request. Personal access is provided through the designated sign-in link. Account details must be accurate and kept up to date. Anyone acting for a business or another person must have authority to do so. Personal sign-in links must not be shared; suspected misuse must be reported to the operator.

4. Free requests

By submitting a request, you instruct Quoti to prepare it and make it available to suitable providers so they can contact you. Submitting a request is free and does not oblige you to accept a quote. Only submit genuine requests and describe your requirements and contact details truthfully.

No more than five different providers can purchase access to the same request through Quoti. Before purchasing, providers see a preview without your contact details. After purchasing, they receive your contact details and the full structured information to ask questions and prepare a quote. Notify the operator when you no longer need your request. This cannot recall information already legitimately disclosed.

5. AI-assisted preparation

The AI assistant asks follow-up questions and turns your answers into a title and concise request attributes. Four key attributes are selected for the preview. Authorised recipients also receive the remaining structured information. The original AI conversation is not passed to buyers or sent by email as part of the request.

This preparation is not an expert assessment or a guarantee that all details are complete and accurate. Telephone verification of every request is not promised. Report apparent errors to the operator. Providers must clarify essential delivery or performance details directly with the customer before issuing a binding quote or carrying out the work.

6. What a request purchase includes

You purchase access to the contact details and structured information for a particular request and to the associated communication within the portal. You are not buying an awarded contract or an exclusive contact. Up to four other providers may purchase the same request. Availability shown before purchase may change as other providers buy access.

Review the preview and displayed price before confirming a purchase. Not winning the work, having a quote rejected or not receiving an initial response does not by itself mean the agreed introduction service is defective. Rights concerning genuinely defective services remain unaffected.

7. Prices, contract formation and payment

The price displayed in Swiss francs before the relevant purchase applies. Business prices are net of tax; applicable VAT and the total payable are shown before a binding payment is made. The price of a completed purchase will not be changed retrospectively. Selecting a request or opening the payment page does not trigger a payment.

For a payment through Stripe, the final payment confirmation constitutes a binding order. Quoti accepts it by confirming the purchase and unlocking the request or crediting the purchased top-up. For purchases using existing credit, the contract is concluded when the balance is successfully debited and access is unlocked. Until your confirmation, you can correct your details or cancel the process.

Stripe processes payments using the methods offered at checkout. Access or credit is provided after receipt of payment is confirmed. Confirmations are electronic and invoice documents are available in the business account. Being redirected back to the website is not itself proof of payment. There is no paid subscription, automatic top-up or automatic request purchasing.

8. Prepaid credit

Purchased credit is an advance payment specifically for future purchases of request contacts on Quoti. It does not pay for a provider’s work for a customer, does not earn interest and is not a general-purpose payment instrument. The displayed amount is deducted from the available balance when purchasing; VAT already accounted for on the top-up is not charged again.

Credit does not expire solely because of inactivity or an account suspension. For account closure or refund questions, contact the operator so outstanding purchases, payments and any entitlement to a refund can be clarified. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

9. Errors, complaints and refunds

Report incorrect contact details, a purchased request that has not been unlocked, duplicate charges or other service defects to info@quoti.ch. Identify the relevant request or payment and describe the problem. The operator will investigate and, depending on the outcome, provide the service owed, make a correction or issue a justified refund. Reporting helps resolve the issue and does not shorten any statutory deadline.

No additional voluntary cancellation right is granted for professional request purchases or credit top-ups. Mandatory statutory cancellation rights and rights arising from non-performance, defects or unjustified charges remain reserved. Complaints about subsequent work or product delivery must be addressed to the relevant provider.

10. Quotes and messages

After purchasing a request, providers can send questions and quotes through Quoti. The provider is responsible for the content, price, VAT treatment, validity period, performance dates and any contractual terms of its own. Customers should check these details before accepting a quote. Accepting a binding quote may create a direct contract between those two parties.

Messages can be exchanged in the portal and, where offered, by replying to the designated emails. Those replies are linked to the relevant conversation and made available to the other party. Contract-related communications are sent to the registered email address. New-request notifications follow saved filters and can be disabled in the business account.

11. Permitted use and contact details

Prohibited conduct includes fabricated requests, misrepresenting identity, unlawful content, malicious software, harassment and circumventing access or purchase restrictions. Only submit content and data you are legally entitled to use. Providers are responsible for the permits, qualifications, insurance and legal requirements applicable to their activities.

Purchased contact details may only be used to handle the specific request and any resulting business relationship. Resale, publication or unsolicited advertising without a separate lawful basis is prohibited. Staff or assistants may only have access to the extent necessary and must comply with the same protection duties.

12. Availability and responsibility

Quoti operates the platform with appropriate care. Maintenance, technical incidents and outages of involved services may temporarily affect availability. Uninterrupted use or a particular provider response time is not guaranteed. Statutory rights concerning services not delivered remain unaffected.

The operator is liable for its own breaches in accordance with applicable law. In particular, these terms do not exclude liability for intent, gross negligence or any other mandatory liability. The customer and provider are responsible for performing their separate contract and for the associated warranties, payments and disputes.

13. Account closure and restrictions

You can request account closure at info@quoti.ch. Closure does not cancel existing contracts with providers, outstanding payment obligations or justified claims. Any remaining credit is dealt with under section 8. Records subject to statutory retention requirements are kept for the required period.

Where there is concrete evidence of misuse, security risks or material breaches, the operator may withhold or remove affected content and proportionately restrict access. Where reasonably possible and compatible with security, affected users will be informed of the reason and given an opportunity to respond. Suspension does not automatically forfeit existing credit or justified refund claims.

14. Data protection

The separate privacy notice explains which personal data Quoti processes for requests, accounts, payments and communications, to whom it is disclosed and what rights you have. Accepting these terms does not replace any separate consent required for optional data processing.

Privacy

15. Changes, applicable law and jurisdiction

The version agreed when a purchase is concluded applies to that purchase. Changes do not retrospectively apply to completed purchases. Material changes affecting existing account relationships will be communicated in advance, and consent will be obtained where required. You can save or print this page using your browser.

Swiss law applies. Mandatory protections, particularly those benefiting consumers, remain reserved. The competent courts are determined by applicable law; these terms do not restrict mandatory jurisdictions. If a provision is invalid, statutory rules take its place and the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
