Contact form

We use your name, email address and message to respond to your enquiry. Your message is sent to our Quoti inbox through Postmark. It is not shared with our AI or published as a quote request. No account is created.

Account and emails

We process your email address for registration and sign-in. An account is created only after you confirm the address using the emailed link. Accounts and sessions are stored in a separate Quoti database at Neon in Frankfurt. Session data may include your IP address and browser identifier.

We send registration, sign-in and account confirmation emails through Postmark (ActiveCampaign). We provide the service with your email address and message content, including the single-use sign-in link. Postmark processes this data in the United States. Open and click tracking are disabled. Technical delivery records and blocks following delivery rejection help prevent duplicate or unwanted messages.

Sign-in links are valid for 20 minutes and can only be used once. After sign-in, a technically necessary session cookie protected against JavaScript access is set for up to 30 days. Signing out ends the session. To access or delete your account data, contact us at the address above.

Business accounts and payments

To set up a business account and process payments, we send Stripe the business name, billing address, email and a technical account identifier. Payments take place on a Stripe-hosted page; Quoti does not store complete card numbers or security codes. Stripe also processes payment and device data to prevent fraud; data may be processed abroad, particularly in the United States. Quoti retains payment status, purchases, credit movements and billing details to fulfil transactions and legal record-keeping duties. We do not send request content or requester contact details to Stripe. Matching businesses initially see only the structured request; contact details and the complete structured information become available only after a confirmed purchase. Each request is made accessible to no more than five businesses.

Requests and quotes

When you submit, we store your answers, name, email and optional details such as your phone number and notes in the separate Quoti database. We use them to process your request and show it with received quotes in your account. If needed, a free account is created after you confirm your email. Using an address different from the signed-in account requires separate confirmation. We send the necessary access and confirmation emails; the operator is notified of new requests and confirmed accounts. Requests may be published before email verification. Accessing your account requires sign-in. Data is kept only for as long as needed for processing, account operation or legal obligations. Contact info@quoti.ch for access or deletion requests.

Quoti AI assistant

Quoti uses your request description, selected service and previous answers to ask relevant follow-up questions. Only when you submit does the AI prepare a short title and concise request details. It also sets the price suppliers pay to access the enquiry, within the predefined range for that service. This content is sent to OpenAI through Vercel AI Gateway; processing in the United States is possible. The separate name, email, phone and optional note fields are not sent to the AI. The note stays with the protected contact details and is only accessible to suppliers after purchase. Please leave contact details, confidential documents and sensitive personal information out of the chat. AI questions and summaries can contain errors. Missing information must not be invented. The original conversation and your contact details are stored separately from the prepared presentation. Before purchase, suppliers see four selected facts and can expand the other non-identifying job details. Contact information, exact addresses and other identifying job details are only accessible after purchase. The AI conversation is not displayed in dashboards or forwarded by email. An AI draft can be used for 24 hours. Abandoned drafts are gradually deleted after 30 days when subsequent requests are processed. Submitted details are retained for review even if preparation fails. Technical safeguards prevent duplicate processing, among other protections.

Saved display preference

When you choose the light or dark theme, your choice is saved in this browser’s local storage and in a cookie lasting up to one year. It therefore remains available after you close the tab. You can remove this preference by clearing the site’s data in your browser. Without a saved choice, Quoti follows your device or browser’s appearance setting.

Locality suggestions

The postcode or locality name you enter is searched in the directory held on this server. No street addresses, contact details or form answers are sent to external geographic services. Data source: Federal Office of Topography swisstopo. ©swisstopo

Visitor measurement with Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to measure page views and use of our forms, and count confirmed request purchases and credit top-ups. No purchase amounts or payment details are transmitted. Analytics loads only after you agree. Contact details, free-text answers and sign-in links are not sent to Google. Google processes information about devices and usage; data may also be processed in the USA. Analytics cookies and your choice are stored for up to 180 days. You can change your choice here at any time. Advertising personalisation and Google Signals are disabled. User and event data are retained for 14 months without resetting the period on new visits; aggregated reports may remain available longer.

Advertising measurement with Google Ads

Only with your separate consent, we use Google Ads to measure whether an ad click leads to an accepted quote request, a confirmed business account or a first confirmed request purchase. Google processes click and cookie identifiers, technical device information and a non-directly-identifying event identifier to prevent duplicate counts. We do not send contact details, answers, sign-in links or payment details or purchase amounts for this purpose; automatic detection of contact details is disabled. Analytics consent alone does not enable this measurement. Google also processes data in the USA. Your choice is stored for 180 days and can be changed here at any time. On withdrawal, we stop further conversion events and delete accessible Google Ads cookies on Quoti. Advertising personalisation and remarketing remain disabled.
